Effective 1st April 2026, the government of Malawi has launched a digital procurement system named the Malawi National Electronic Procurement System (MaNEPS). This system has been made mandatory for all public procurement, as one way of reducing inefficiencies and corruption. MaNEPS is an online platform that manages the entire procurement cycle, from planning and tendering to contract award and payment.
